Maintenance of the server and network infrastructure of RusGazBurenie LLC

Русгазбуренние

This is a project aimed at helping the client’s IT team to solve everyday issues of large business when the cost of downtime is too high.

We were tasked with removing part of the load from the company’s specialists in order to avoid expanding the staff of our own employees, as well as to ensure the interchangeability of the client’s IT department team for the period of sick leave and vacations.

During the project, we managed to help the company in solving various cases. For example, in March of this year, when sanctions packages began to fall on Russia, we helped the customer find and replace equipment and software, the use of which threatened to become impossible. When Cisco announced its withdrawal from the Russian market, our specialists took actions to prevent the immediate collapse of the customer’s infrastructure, after which replacement equipment was selected based on the needs and availability in the Russian market.

At the same time, Microsoft announced its intentions to leave Russia, which threatened the organization with the loss of the ability to use Microsoft Office. It was decided to switch to alternative types of office products. For these works, it was necessary to change the set of office programs on a huge amount of equipment manually, and of course in this case it was also not without our help. Our field engineers downloaded and installed new software packages for office work on the devices in the shortest possible time, thereby saving a lot of time for the company’s staff specialists, who, instead of performing a large number of routine actions, were able to focus on more complex IT processes of the company.

Thus, the customer avoided the need to expand the staff of expensive specialists (at least 3 people of different specializations) + taxes and social contributions ~ 40%. Compared with the outsourcing of these works, the customer received a final savings of about 250,000 rubles per month.
